The ultimate system size is determined by the number of extension modules used the Tree Extension can accommodate anywhere from two to fifty nodes (Presence Sensors, Touch, etc.). You can link a maximum of ten Mini servers in a single Loxone Gateway-Client installation, with between thirty and thirty expansion modules installed in each Miniserver. Connecting the Loxone LINK requires a termination resistor to be connected to the last gadget in the chain.
Each bus has two power(24V wires and two data (communication) wires. The Miniserver can talk to the distribution cabinet's expansion modules via the LINK, and you can connect field devices to the TREE. Loxone has essentially just two buses for communication needs. All data from the peripherals must travel through the Miniserver before it can reach its intended destination. The peripherals are merely interventional devices and do not carry out any actual processing. Miniserver acts as the system's master controller and handles all administrative tasks. I think A complete rework of the code should be made with improvements like auto detection of the loxone server etc.įor me I do know if it is worth it to do all the work of it now works. If this is working as stable as the current release the first step is made.Īnd then I think the whole home assistant part should be improved and cleaned up.
